An exceptional, museum-grade specimen featuring deeply saturated purple fluorite cubes with complex modifications. The transparency is remarkable, allowing a clear view of the internal phantoms that define this classic Kentucky-Illinois fluorspar district find.
Ex-collection of Dr. Robert Jenkins, acquired directly from the mining operations in early 1984. This piece represents the peak of production for the Denton Mine, showcasing the unique paragenesis of chalcopyrite inclusions and micro-crystalline barite coating on the reverse edge. The specimen comes with its original hand-written label and a custom acrylic base for display.
